Surveyors Acting as Expert Witnesses: Practice Statement and Guidance Notes

(1997)
  Copy   BIBTEX

Abstract

This text includes both practice statement and guidance notes for reference when any chartered surveyor agrees, or is required, to provide oral or written expert evidence which may be relied upon by any judicial or quasi-judicial body in the UK. This edition has been fully revised and updated to take into account changes since the first edition. The practice statement sets out the duties of a surveyor in providing evidence, while the guidance notes provide further information on good practice in an area which is potentially problematic. Sample terms of engagement are also provided.
