Abstract

This article is a reflection on the serious environmental challenges (global warming, rampant pollution, etc.) that humanity faces today in order to contribute to an improvement of our own well-being and that of others. In other words, it questions the role of environmental ethics in protecting nature in order to improve the conditions of human existence. Indeed, today, our greatest challenge seems to be how to adjust our actions towards human dignity so that a kind treatment nature that can be beneficial to human can remain the goal of all human actions. Hence the importance of environmental ethics in directing human action towards a greater social responsibility.
