The role of oxymoron as one of the figures speech of lexical antonymy in cognitive linguistics

Abstract

This article is the result of research on the possibilities of lexical antonyms in cognitive linguistics. Realization of the set goal involves the solution of the following tasks: consideration of the function of an oxymoron; identifying the features of the use of oxymoron as a specific means of language, the study of language techniques of oxymoron.
