The Characteristics of Japanese Modern Industrial Revolution

Abstract

And the native form of the different industrial revolution in Europe and America, Japan, the country after the industrial revolution made ​​with light and heavy industrial twice "revolution" in the difficult process of complete division of a compound feature, it actually provides a "post-hair" capitalism national industrial revolution paradigm. If the dependence of the angle, from the more in-depth study, can be pointed out that Japan's industrial revolution has the following six characteristics: institutional environment created by, the state capital investment and transfer of state-led implementation; industrial-style go hand in hand rather than the technical level the level of linear catch-up transplant; always ensure that the military industrial dominance in the national economy; foster chaebol, to support private capital monopoly; introduction of technology in the industry is heavily dependent on capital supply and strong; in access to markets and resources, weak pressure on the crazy. So to achieve the industrial revolution the accumulated contradictions, has become the development direction of modern Japan's national selection of important constraints. It is worthy to study that Japan only spent 25 years to complete the industry revolution which England and French spent more than one century. There are several characteristics for Japanese industry revolution: Firstly, Japan as the follower of industrial countries completed two "revolutions" in one time; Secondly, the government took the key position in the revolution; Thirdly, Japan moved directly the European models, military industry had been developed first, the financial Magnates monopolized industry, Japan relied on the stronger to rob the weaker
