Abstract

This article explains why the World Trade Organization struggles with the problem of its own legitimacy, how it puts forward both procedural and substantial arguments and remains trapped in the tension between tchem. This paper focussed on the WTO’s own discource to shed light on its presuppositions or, rather, its internal contradictions.
