Abstract

This paper comments on the autobiography of Carlos París , philosopher and professor of philosophy, and doctor honoris causa for the University of Valencia. París describes three decades of the Spanish history , under General Franco’s rule, and with special emphasis on the situation of the Spanish university, dominated by the scholastic philosophy. The energy and refl exion deliberated to transform the situation in order to join the intellectual developments in Europe are indicated, including the noteworthy inflworks by this philosopher are made
