Abstract

The logical principle of "not only but also" is the basis for inter-subjective synopsis-synthesis and an explanation of Persian holism.Zoroaster and other Persian scholars are treated,as well as Sufi consciousness training, hemispheric specialization, and the importance of the situation etc.An overvaluation of successes of 'the natural sciences should be avoided; the necessity of empirical knowlwdge for the experience of essenses not forgotten. The necessary connection between trascendence and rationality in Persian thought could serve as a model for western philosophers.
