Abstract

Open peer commentary on the article “Creativity in Solving Short Tasks for Learning Computational Thinking” by Valentina Dagienė, Gerald Futschek & Gabrielė Stupurienė.: Dagienė et al.’s target article illustrates and discusses how solving short tasks in the style of the Bebras challenge can contribute to fostering computational thinking skills, and why such a learning process can be designed in the framework of constructionist learning. We shortly survey the contributions of the target article and propose to deepen the approach in order to fit constructionist learning in all its aspects.
