Abstract

This survey discusses the philosophically relevant literature on Moses Maimonides published between 2004 and 2014 in Western European languages. Besides a survey of general studies related to Maimonides and his thought, special attention is paid to the Guide of the Perplexed the edition of both the original text and Hebrew and Latin translations, as well as studies), in addition to studies that deal with the influence of Arabic sources on Maimonides’ thought and the reception of the latter in the later Jewish world and in the Latin West.
