Abstract

Since the Tang Dynasty in China as the Japanese really well after the official release of the epitaph, the Japanese experts and scholars have serious attention. As a very simple epitaph records, and Japanese literature in the absence of relevant records, the current owner of the tomb as well real life experience and study of very intense debate career. But my humble opinion clinics, academic understanding of the basic epitaph, Interpretation of some problems, particularly around the office to fill epitaphs incomplete text. Again the interpretation of the epitaph, with particular emphasis on the story of the sort which used to fill the text as well as incomplete at the identification, that the defect in the text for the monument, "title", "and," "sink," "sad," "to", "East", "off", "life" and more likely. The airing of the epitaph for mo Manari, an diplomat to the Tang Dynasty, has been accumulating significant attention. Dejectedly enough, the article of the epitaph is plain, and relevant article has not been found among Japanese literature. Currently, the origin of mo Manari [well really as], and his activities as an international student have been actively discussed among the researchers of Japanese history in Tang Dynasty. As far as literature review is conducted by the author, there are some difficulties with regard to deciphering activities for the core part of the epitaph. It is estimated that there were some misleading press release as for the size of the stone used for the epitaph, and the interpretation of number of Chinese characters on the epitaph. In addition to above, there are some discussions for the missing characters on the epitaph, but it is judged by the author that [title], [Li], [gully], [sorrow], [to], [East], [customers], [life] are the most reasonable characters
