Tema teksta jeste rad jednog od najvecih indologa svih vremena - Ab? Raih?n Al-B?r?n?ja. Ovaj putujuci ucenjak se upoznao sa korijenima hinduske kulture i filozofije u vrijeme kada skoro nista nije bilo poznato izvan Indije o opsegu bogatstva njezinog naslijedja.
