Spain in combating extremism and terrorism during the modern history

Abstract

Analysis features of the national terrorist threat in Spain, its background and policies combating extremism and terrorism, the Spanish government in terms of the spread of global terrorism International. Several conditions determine the relevance of the subject. The first fact is that the problem of terrorism and extremism did not pass such a prosperous European country like Spain, which in the period of its modern history, namely since the return to power of King J. Carlos was in a state of civil conflict. The second – the multiethnic character of the national identification system and features large national groups in the country are those sensitive topics that allow ambitious politicians for their own purposes to manipulate the public consciousness, where the historic remains of extremism and radicalism take place.
