Abstract

John Maynard Keynes war der bedeutendste Ökonom des 20. Jahrhunderts. Seine ökonomische Analyse hat heute viele Anhänger im linken politischen Spektrum, er selbst war jedoch ein überzeugter Liberaler, der angesichts der ökonomischen und politischen Instabilität in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts eine Neuorientierung des Liberalismus in der Form eines „new liberalism“ forderte.
