Abstract
Sixteen contributions from political and social scientists, philosophers, and legal theorists examine issues relating to race and the inequalities attached to certain social identities. Topics include, for example, identity politics, desegregation busing, and human dignity in Kant's moral philosophy. The papers were originally presented at the 16th International Social Philosophy Conference (July 1999, Villanova, Pennsylvania). The volume is not indexed.
