Abstract

Each of the 60 cases (which include 16 new cases) in this volume are accompanied by contrasting commentaries by noted writers in a variety of academic and professional disciplines, including law, medicine, nursing, social work, psychiatry, philosophy and theology. The case studies were inspired by real events. Bette-Jane Crigger has also edited The Hastings Center Report.
