Abstract

The ABCs of Education is a philosophy of education introducing a unique learning perspective that promotes interest based learning for the purpose of fostering authentic empowerment via civic engagement. This book begins by clarifying the function of education and the need for creating safe and welcoming learning environments by modeling altruistic practices. Altruism is justified with a that a theory that explains synergy in the context of education. The book then goes on to introduce a concept referred to as Biosintegrumology. This is book is the most comprehensive introduction of Biosintegumology to date. Biosintegrumology is used to demonstrate the importance of student interest in curriculum design. Finally, the book concludes with detailing the role of civics in education.
