Abstract

It was the main problem of German Idealism, and especially of Hegel, to overcome the strict opposition between human being as an epistemological subject and the universe that can be traced back to Descartes, who started with the I as an unquestionable source of reality, and to Kant, who reinforced this attitude by rendering the I think as an essential form of all experience. After Nietzsche and Heidegger, Cogito’s subject should lost its Archimedean position to a very large extent.
