The notion of communicative power

Abstract

Development and large-scale implementation of information and communicative technologies into everyday life as well as gaining by information some of product and strategic resource attributes during transition of the society to a new stage of its development, so called «information society». And globilization have spread practially all over the world envolving almost all countries into globalization process thus causing emergence of so called «global society». Indicated changes affected not only the issues of power and relations of power that also have got under the influence of ICT, but globalization processes as well. Besides, one has to note the constantly growing role of mass communication in exercising communicative power taking into account available various forms of rule and state structures of the countries. In connection with this the issues of communication, communicative processes, mass communication and communicative power come to a new level and require modern comprehension to produce practical recommendations for theoretical advances implementation in modern conditions.
