Abstract

This year will see the anniversary of the publication of Thomas More’s Libellus vere aureus, nec minus salutaris quam festivus, de optimo rei publicae statu deque nova insula Utopia. This journal will celebrate the anniversary in many ways. We will move to the publication of three issues per year. One and a half of these three issues will be dedicated to More’s Utopia, its relevance to past and present literature and utopian thought, and Utopia’s global reception. Invited guest editors and authors will argue that utopias and utopian thought cannot be dismissed a priori or be replaced by forms of realism/pragmatism that would merely cement neoliberalism wrapped in the coat of “ultra-logical utopianism” or some..
