Abstract

[ES] El presente escrito es una parte de una obra mayor sobre el humanismo renacentista español y su relación con la historia de la cultura hispánica. Trata, desde la perspectiva del desarrollo de las ideas fundamentales que sustentaron su historia, los siguientes temas: nuestra relación moderna con la historia de la filosofía hispánica; el desarrollo historiográfico del concepto «Escuela de Salamanca»; la interpretación de los saberes salmantinos como una escuela de pensamiento humanista; las semejanzas y diferencias entre el Humanismo renacentista español y el italiano; y la proyección de la Escuela de Salamanca en América. [EN] This writing is part of a larger work on the Spanish Renaissance humanism and its relationship to the history of Hispanic culture. It deals, from the perspective of the development of the fundamental ideas that underpinned its history, with the following themes: our modern relationship with the history of Hispanic philosophy; the development of the historiographical concept «School of Salamanca»; the interpretation of the School of Salamanca knowledge as a school of humanist thought; the similarities and differences between the Spanish and Italian Renaissance humanism; and the projection of the School of Salamanca in America.
