Abstract

This chapter discusses about Ethics & adopts the explanation of the term which Prof. Moore has given in his book Principia Ethica. The author explains Ethics is the general enquiry into what is good. The chapter presents some phrases which will get a rough idea as to what it is that Ethics is concerned with. Ethics, so far as it springs from the desire to say something about the ultimate meaning of life, the absolute good, the absolute valuable can be no science. What it says does not add to our knowledge in any sense. But it is a document of a tendency in the human mind which author personally cannot help respecting deeply.
