Abstract

Palavras-chave : bens relacionais, comunhão, Doutrina Social da Igreja, Economia de Comunhão, economiaThe experience, the culture and the spirituality of the Economy of Communion challenge not only business practices, but also economic thought. In this paper, after a general reflection on economy and religion , I discuss the conception of relations and sociality in economic tradition , and the new concept of relational goods . The thesis I would like to present and discuss in this paper is twofold: The EoC can be read within the framework of the intertwined relations between religion and economic life; the EoC calls economic theory to re-think the nature and meaning of the interpersonal dimension, taking more seriously relational goods. Keywords: Catholic Social Teaching, communion, Economy of Communion, economy, relational goods
