On the Three Stratifications of the Soft Power

Abstract

Soft power is an important force in the form, can be divided into three levels: the human level, the domestic political level, and international political level. From the level of human psychology on the soft power "incentives"; and domestic politics "benevolent" and "hegemony" of the relationship is reflected in the soft power and hard power relations, "Wang" advocate a "benevolent" and "virtue" and other flexible policies to maintain the feudal rule. "Benevolent" and "hegemony" is up to international level to deal with international affairs in the country's soft power and hard power. Zheng and the ancient Chinese tributary system, the use of soft power is a prominent example. Eastern and Western countries on how to view and use the issue of soft power is very different, something rooted in the great cultural differences. The soft power, as one important power of a country, could be divided into three stratifications: human nature level, the interior politics level, and the international politics level. The soft power in the human nature level originated from the psychologically encouragement. How to rule by justice or by force domestically is related to the relationships of bard power and soft power, which appears in international level reflects various countries' soft and hard powers. The tributary system and Zheng He's navigations to the West Ocean was the typical model for China to carry out the soft power. It is totally different for the East and West countries to use the soft power which originates their different culture background
