Abstract

The self-made Man. The genetic Revolution between new Chances and (un)avoidable Risks In the last two decades we moved from first data about the human genome to the availability of new molecular tools for editing the human genome. An interdisciplinary approach is therefore essential to understand the role of genes in the establishment of human phenotypes and attitudes and to gain a mature knowledge about which human traits can be really improved by editing our genome.
