Abstract

Discusses the ability of the European Union to ensure the safety of members, in connection with the raising of the terrorist threat, the escalation of conflicts in the southern and Eastern borders of the Union, the British exit from the EU. The possibility of deeper integration in the field of defense as a response to contemporary security threats. Discusses changes in the Joint policy of defense and security), aimed at increasing defense capabilities of the European Union.
