Comment les Lumières lisent-elles le corpus leibnizien avant que ne soient publiés les Nouveaux essais sur l'entendement humain, œuvre majeure, puisque Leibniz y commente l'Essay concerning Human Understanding de Locke? Cette interrogation nous conduira à reconsidérer le contexte de la réception de la philosophie de Leibniz au XVIIIe siècle.
