| Abstract |
Sraffa was one of two persons whom Wittgenstein explicitly acknowledged in the
preface of the Philosophical Investigations. However, little is known of Sraffa’s
influence on Wittgenstein. On the basis on the yet unpublished letters from
Wittgenstein to Sraffa and interviews with Georg Kreisel, the influence of Sraffa on
Wittgenstein is investigated.
