Abstract

The collection of essays by different academics expresses a wide range of nuanced views on virtue ethics. Divided into three main parts, part one provides depth and breadth in introducing the history and philosophy of virtue education. Part two explores teaching applications. The third part focuses on virtue education’s bearing on friendship, patriotism, gratitude, and courage.
