Abstract
Between the XIII and the XIV century, the beatific vision problem has been object of a large number of theological and philosophical discussions; this article aims to highligh the Thomas de Bailly’s thought − a not known author − who, in his Quodlibeta, dedicated to this argument four important and original questions. Reading these pages , it is possible to understand how the divine essence vision will be ensured not only by an actus voluntatis − according to the Agostinian tradiction −, but also by a special rational capacity which the blessed has in patria
