Abstract

Human beings, it goes without saying, have been using their bodies since the beginning of their existence on earth. However—strange as this may sound—human thought’s discovery of the body as the body, and the start of its comprehension of the body in truth, is by no means ancient but rather a fairly recent occurrence. In fact, we often fail to discover things that are right before our eyes.
