Abstract

Our great leader Chairman Mao in his glorious essay "On the Ten Major Relationships" utilized the law of the unity of opposites in observing socialist society. He thereby conducted an acute analysis of the ten major contradictions of political and social life and, taking the actual conditions of China into consideration, brought forth the fundamental thought of his general line for the greater, faster, better and more economical building of socialism. This essay is a piece of combative literature armed with materialistic dialectics. It is a sharp weapon with which to criticize metaphysics.
