L’université Dans Les Limites De La Simple Raison
Abstract
How can a modest rationalist cope with the tides of relativism, scepticism and postmodernism which are invading the contemporary university, and which are the symptoms of much deeper changes within the traditional ideals of higher education? After an historical outline of the present crisis, I suggest a simple game-theoretical argument to the effect that we should not worry very much about the deniers of traditional academic values: reason will have its share even within the world of the Faculties of Unreason, even if it is only a small share
