THIS REVIEW ATTEMPTS TO SEPARATE THE MAIN THREAD OF SELLARS' ARGUMENT FROM THE TECHNICAL DETAILS OF HIS DIALECTICAL DEVELOPMENT. IT ALSO CRITICIZES HIS VIEWS ON SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION, ON 'PERSON' AS A REDUCIBLE CONCEPT, AND ON ETHICS
