This article attempts to shed light on the reasons for this question through the analysis of the critiques of psychoanalysis and philosophy undertook by this thinker in her search for a feminine materiality. Her work is seen to have produced important effects not only for feminism but also for philosophy itself through her arguments on the sexual nature of reason
