Hegel’s philosophy has an influence on China. There is a history of the Chinese reception of Hegel. This shows that he is certainly a “world philosopher.” The profound and broad thought in his philosophy has made it achieve a great actuality, thus making the study of Hegel a typically international phenomenon. In China, Hegel studies are alive and are now undergoing further development. This development is worth studying especially because Hegelianism has been a field of Chinese philosophy since the end (...) of the 19th century, and therefore has reference to the whole spirit of this people.
