Our study shows that 26 % of respondents believe that the End of the World will not arrive. Twenty-four per cent of respondents are skeptical about the likelihood of the Apocalypse, but they admit its possibility. Thirty-seven per cent of respondents believe that the End (...) of Time will not come soon and the remaining 13% expect the Apocalypse very soon. Some respondents indicate that growth in the rate of prophecies connected with the End of the World in recent years suggests that humanity itself seeks it, while 9 % of respondents state the religious point of view in their works. Also 9 % of respondents believe that there will be no destruction of civilization or destruction of the planet but there will be a mental transition to another level of being. The existence of correlation between creative thinking and eschatological expectations was also empirically established in our study, especially in the group of respondents with a high level of verbal creativity. There is no correlation between the index of non-verbal creativity, personal religiosity and eschatological expectations in the sample. These results confirm that our study is relevant and offers great prospects for further scientific research. (shrink)

The term dual use technologies refers to research and technology with the potential both to yield valuable scientific knowledge and to be used for nefarious purposes with serious consequences for public health or the environment. There are two main approaches to assessing dual use technologies: pragmatic and metaphysical. A pragmatic approach relies on ethical principles and norms to generate specific guidance and policy for dual use technologies. A metaphysical approach exhorts us to the deeper study of human nature, our intentions, (...) goals, values ideals and social relations when considering dual use technology. Use of science and technology (S and T) is determined by two components of human nature: human intentions and choices. We have drawn a distinction between specific measures, goals and intentions with respect to technologies in order to show that moral judgment about technologies must precede their use. Understanding of our intentionality and values, and our moral ideals, as a measurable, tangible part of the real world is important for the prevention of any possible harm from S and T. In the context of dual use technologies, we stress the importance of three main understandings of human nature: vulnerability, responsibility and narrative identity. These can become a strong ontological “antidote” to technology’s poisoning of modern man. Each new technology can be measured and compared with man’s values, traditions and societal norms. This can be done bearing in mind the concept that human nature is not dualistic, but pluralistic. A system of ethical principles that includes the principles of good intentions, the correspondence of goals and means, the balancing of risks and benefits, simplicity, and contextuality, will help ensure that technologies are more humanistic and friendly to human beings. Modern linguistics is characterized by the establishment and formation of a new promising direction, based on anthropocentric theory of speech genres. The popularity of this direction lies in the interest of the scientists in the phenomenon of virtual communication, which has a certain structure and differs in mechanisms of influence on the social content. The multidimensionality and richness of genre forms determine the need for a diverse approach to the study of speech genres in modern genology. The aim of the (...) article is to study and analyze the theory of speech genres in modern linguistics. The author presents the basic theoretical foundations of the study of the theory of speech genres. Taking into account the achievements of modern studies, the concept of speech genres is analyzed, features and functions of the visual elements of the speech genre are described. It is proved that the modern speech genre and its variety the virtual speech genre are an informational and communicative environment in which there is a certain styling, sphere of communication, speech behavior. The speech genre and the virtual speech genre belong to the written communication and rely on the fullest use of lexical, grammatical, graphic, and media means of speech, which foresees certain adjustments, as well as it differs by the form of dialogue and monologue. Many scholars have already considered the interpretation of the Bible in the works of I. Franko, including Vera Sulim, Larisa Bondar, Oksana Zabuzhko and others. However, these studies touch upon some aspects of Frank's vision of the Bible, or consider individual works of thinkers written on biblical subjects, such as "Moses," "The Death of Cain," "The Legend of Pilate," etc. Let us try here to show that the work of Ivan Franko demonstrates not only a deep philosophical understanding of the (...) Bible, a new, not dogmatic reading of its ancient stories, but also an objective and scientific analysis of the knowledge about it that has accumulated in its time by world scientific criticism. The paper looks into the phenomenon of criticism of the Russian World concept in contemporary Ukrainian religious, political and social discourses. It is shown that the propagandistic ideological narrative model, developed according to numerous historical analogs, is becoming a subject of critical analysis by specialists in many scientific areas. Experts' views coincide in many respects but there are also different stances on some disputable issues. The historical aspiration of Russia for domination and substantiation of its unique nature is considered the (...) root of the concept. This explains the use of such narrative constructs as "Moscow is the third Rome", "specific civilization" etc. Based on evidence of competent authorities, the author proves that the concept was most likely developed by a group of leading Russian ideologists in the late 20th century. It acquired the modern conservative and nationalist form only after it had become an object of interest of Russian clerical circles and started spreading through church resources. The symbolic figure in this respect is the current Moscow Patriarch Kyrylo who has been an active promoter of the Russian World concept from the early 21st century. After he had been voted into the Patriarch office, Kyrylo turned the Russian World into the leading church and political narrative. The wide use of the concept for political purposes was consistently criticized for undisguised militarism, aggressive and nationalistic ideas underpinning the Russian World. According to numerous experts, these ideas have no common root with Christianity, sometimes being in open contradiction with the latter. Critical studies also indicate that the basis of the Russian World is the belief that the Russian culture and language are culturally superior to historical achievements of numerous other peoples, including the Ukrainians. As historical experience shows, the use of such ideological concepts as the Russian World results in consolidation of society around one national idea and expansion of aggressive state policy to neighboring countries. The article highlights the theoretical foundations of information support of public administration. The paper considers and analyzes effective information and telecommunication systems for implementing information security in public administration, including the development and implementation of a scientific approach to it. The research focuses on the amount of information that moves in the information system of public administration activities and provides authorities received mutually reinforcing effect "economies of scale" that is traditional in costs by increasing the scale of production.

The topicality of the issue on communities being restructured as a result of migration processes, in particular in Europe nowadays, leads to academic discussions on identity transformations under the pressure of the migrations, as well as to integration rethinking. The approach to integration has changed significantly, and the idea of the Other as an individual or a group in need of being adjusted to the social-cultural space of We has faded away, while being substituted by the recent shift from diversity (...) to superdiversity, the nation-focused models of integration considered outdated. Integration emerges as a relation-based process aimed at communicative and discoursive discovering of the social and cultural markers disclosing the possibilities for citizens to reach social cohesion advantages, without the latter being instrumentally imposed through unifying efforts of those in power. The article dwells upon the questions, issues and conclusions of the recent discussion “Who needs integration?”; and the discoursive aspect of integration based on D- principle and migration-related aspects of its implementation has been paid due attention as well. Static and dynamic identity issues have been studied in the context of conflict-related migration situation in Ukraine. The challenges and practical discourses implying integration have been reviewed through the surveys’ data, 2017- 2019, on the protracted displacement, relations between displaced persons and host communities, tolerance and civic engagement. Post-conflict reintegration problems have been outlined in the conclusions, through the issues on “return vs. integration” choice, “red lines”, and educational means and limitations of influence on the restructured communities, – as the perspectives for further research in the framework of the study. In the article, the scenario-moulding is evaluated through the linguistic and conceptual accessibility of the future and the moral challenges of doing and allowing harm to the future participants of the practical discourses rooted in the present-centered scenarios. The viability of the scenarios is suggested to be defined by the alienation from the present and past imaginative contexts, as well as by overcoming the projections of humanity exclusiveness through inversible forecasting with the shift from human power to vulnerability as the (...) key issue in scenario-making. The eccentric approach to the future makes it possible to review both intergenerational and intragenerational perspectives of the future through the chronological distance and yet-inexistent subjects’ expectations and needs simulation. Taking to account the impact of the past, present and future otherness implies the three-dimensional assessment model involving metaphorical evaluation of the past-rooted patterns as paradise lost, illusions of the accessible futures as paradise found, and refusal of the futurized present expectations for the yetunknown imaginative future contexts as paradise conceptually postponed. Recent anthropological studies consider the corporal experience as an indispensable attribute of a person’s life world. They declare to go beyond the dichotomy of body and mind and present a modern person as a complex integrity of all systems and characteristics of a living organism. Body and mind are a union of vitality with different forms of their manifestation. The corporal is not regarded as an essential complement to the mental, the corporal is the mental, just in a different form (...) of its manifestation. The implementation of a methodological turn from a rationalcognitive approach to a holistic understanding of human nature and the peculiarities of cognitive processes outlines the problem of education transformation in both theoretical and practical terms. Taking into account the complexity and multiplicity of tasks in solving this problem, the guideline in defining conceptual ideas is the understanding of a person as a multi-temporal being who lives simultaneously in multiple hierarchical levels, ontological time and the scale of processes. It is a question of necessity to construct educational activity in semantic planes: mindbody- culture, mind-body-activity, body-consciousness-reaction and others. (shrink)

У статті підкреслено думку про настійну потребу співвіднесеності сучасних культурно-антропологічних пошуків України з мислетворчою традицією, актуалізованою ідеями богословсько-персоналістської цінності людини та кордоцентризму, які знайшли вагоме опертя в ісихазмі з його невичерпним потенціалом преображення та обоження людини. Доведено, що ісихазм − це не лише спокій і мовчання і не тільки система богословських понять, з допомогою якої стверджується можливість єднання з Богом. Це щонайбільшою мірою особисте божественне самоодкровення. Ісихазм значну увагу акцентує на спроможності серця увібрати і вмістити божественне світло, яке стяжає подвижник. (...) Акцентовано увагу на значимості кордоцентричної лінії у сучасному українському філософуванні, що найповніше акумулювала у собі усю повноту філософської морально-релігійної вітчизняної традиції. Доведено, що острозьке книжництво стало своєрідною сполучною ланкою між Афоном та Україною у кінці XVI-го століття. Підкреслено трансформацію традиції острожан у творчості Петра Могили, який наголошує на тому, що «не плоть і кров», а священне богослов’я навчає істинній премудрості – Божественному розуму. Ця думка демонструє дієву концепцію «внутрішньої» людини, а також засвідчує безперервність спадкоємництва філософування у православному морально-релігійному контексті від давньоруського любомудрія до кордоцентричних інтенцій Київської філософської школи.Аргументовано, що ісихастська практика теозису − обоження людини є надзвичайно важливою, оскільки що являє собою містику світла, яке єдине може видозмінити світ. The article reveals the issues of interdependence of the development of human capital in public administration on the level of its provision by the state in the context of COVID-19. In a democratic, civil, postmodern society, one of the main tasks is the development of systems for managing the efficiency of human capital in the context of public administration, as a means of obtaining higher levels of labor productivity. Today we have to state that the achievement of this efficiency in (...) the use of human resources can be better achieved by orienting the performance management system to promote the attraction of new human potential in public administration at all levels. In this context, a new approach to the human capital management process is being actualized, which includes employee engagement and key factors of employee engagement at every stage. We are talking about a management model that includes the main ideas and offers a new perspective on how to develop and manage the involvement of human resources to achieve high levels of labor productivity in public administration in the context of COVID-19. Стаття присвячена аналізу соціальних чинників реалізації гендерних стереотипів владного впливу. З'ясовано сутність гендерних стереотипів як соціальної категорії, їх функціональна спрямованість. Автор аналізує гендерні схеми, що базуються на кодуванні "своїх" та "чужих", їхнє значення в пізнанні соціальної реальності, визначає роль гендерних стереотипів у продукуванні й підтримці ієрархічних взаємовідносин у суспільстві. Визначено соціальний зміст гендерних ролей, їхнє значення у виробленні суспільних моделей поведінки.

The essential factors of implementation of gender identification in the context of social and communication interaction have been considered in terms of the social and philosophical analysis. The author focuses on the achievements of postmodern philosophy in terms of the scientific analysis that focused on the problem of understanding gender marking subjectivity not as immutable biological forms but as socially constructed conducted by certain types of social and communicative strategies. The author indicates that different social aspects of biological sex of (...) the individual associated with the process of public perception and the system of established socio-cultural relationship. These require the individual to a particular type of gender communicative behavior, the most appropriate in a particular society, and language becomes from an external tool in a tool of external means of formation of subjectivity, begins to define the essential contents of the subject. Language appears not only a way of individuals communication, but it is also organic strategy "involvement" of the subject in contemporary culture system, it acts as the key to his self-expression and identity. The author emphasizes that gender role is a differentiation of activity, status, rights and duties of individuals based on their gender; it belongs to the category of social roles and expressing certain social expectations. The value-regulatory system family, which brought up a specific person, has an influence on the formation of gender roles. In terms of the communication gender display is means of gender roles implementation. Gender identity should not be seen as attributive property of the individual, but it should be seen as a model of social and communicative behavior, that enables selection of the most effective communication strategies for social interaction and social causes of self-identity. This article focuses on the book collection whose history began in the mid-eighteenth century and despite certain losses continues nowadays 1. This is a sole known book gathering that belonged to the Ukrainian ruling dynasty and still finds itself in the possession of the family. The Counts Razumovsky, who trace their ancestry from the hetman Kyrylo Rozumovsky (1728– 1803), held first-class libraries in their Ukrainian, Russian, Austrian, and Czech estates during almost three centuries. However, it is only the Viennese collection (...) that survived the tough twentieth century and sheds light on the bookish tastes of its aristocratic proprietors. At the same time, the catalogues of 1907 and 1914 reveal the repertoire of the lost assemblages, offering a broader exploration of the family book tradition possible. The article is dedicated to a complex analysis of the “war texts”. Discursive features of the triad “war – author – text” are proposed to be researched through the prism of the holistic linguistic act of communication. Discourse analysis of “war texts” is carried out on the material of works of Oksana Zabuzhko, namely, the collection of essays “And Again I Crawl into the Tank” and “The Longest Journey”. The way the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian war is understood and interpreted (...) in the public intellectual discourse is investigated. Such research gives a possibility to acquire data on how the author presents her/his own activity-in-the[1]world and transfers her/his attitude to the events described. It is reiterated that the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian war can be researched within the boundaries of development of the discourse portrait of language personality, as the author’s texts are the information tracks of public discourse. Models of “war texts” of Oksana Zabuzhko are characterized with the help of three types of meaning: experiential (thematic sphere of communication), interpersonal (meaning of social roles), and textual (characterizes the channel of communication). The sense structure of the corresponding respective texts was scrutinized. That helped to acquire new data about their semiotic models. (shrink)

The work presents axiological aspect of tolerance formation under conditions when each culture comprehends its tradition uniqueness and strives to prove its competitiveness under globalization; basic features of tolerance have been outlined as well.

In the article, the recent social-philosophical discussions on authenticity and autonomy have been reviewed through the optics of power. The latter is understood as the regulation of the actors’ state of being marked or unmarked in the social-cultural space. Another dimension of the optics is the adjustment of the access to power and representation of the groups in media-related and legal discourses. The visibility asymmetry has been considered through the social representation of the groups, with attention paid to the concepts (...) of recognition, exoticization and adaptation, power, and powerlessness. The immediate and terminated effect of visibility on social cohesion and integration processes in communities has been reviewed in this context. The distortions of visibility, such as invisibility and super-visibility, require estimation of the unmarked normalcy threshold for the communities; therefore, the Ukrainian perspective on the issue involved the analysis of the conflict-related massive protracted inner displacement in the country. Based on the situation descriptions and action plans suggested in the project on the Strategy of Integration of Internally Displaced Persons and Implementation of Long-Term Solutions to Internal Displacement until 2023, the distortions of visibility in the Ukrainian communities have been assessed. One of the suggested perspectives implies the possible impact evaluation of media-type visibility of the internally displaced persons and residents of the non-government-controlled areas in Ukraine on the scenarios of reintegration of the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and Russia-backed forces. The theoretical adjustment lies in finding the visibility theory gap and formulation of the further research question on the correlation between the group visibility and reconciliation being facilitated by the actors. The purpose of the article is to explore the gender aspect of the modernization of Tunisian society from modernism to postmodernism, which defined the cultural concept of the twentieth century. The article conducts a comprehensive study of gender aspects of the modernization of Tunisian society since the beginning of this modernization in 1900 of the XX century. to the beginning of the XXI century; for the first time the periodization of the women's movement in Tunisia in the period of modern (...) history is presented and substantiated; analyzed the history of the impact of political and legal reforms of the Tunisian government on changing the gender situation in society; reflects the specifics of gender ideas and practices of Tunisian society in historical retrospect. The degree of influence of the French colonial regime on the modernization of Tunisian society in a gender context is determined; an analysis of the specifics of gender relations in Islamic society. It is proved that Islamic democracy was presented as a guarantor of the real emancipation of women, provided that she retains the primary status of wife and mother. This principle, due to the socio-cultural traditions of Tunisian society, was in fact basic in gender perceptions and for this period. Biographies of the leaders of the Tunisian movement show that their social self-realization was usually directly ensured by the status of the wife of a politician. (shrink)

У статті здійснюється історико-філософський розгляд контроверсійних підвалин комунікативних стратегій, де під контроверсіями розуміється принцип суперечності діалогу як такого, а під комунікативними стратегіями – діалог як «раціональна комунікація», тобто комунікація з наперед заданою метою. Показано зв’язок між морально-етичною настановою історичних періодів та принципом діалогу, притаманного цій добі. Виявлено, що принцип діалогу, запроваджений ще у добу Античності як спосіб знаходження порозуміння, знайшов своє продовження у диспутах середньовічних університетів та жанру діалогу доби Відродження. Водночас індивідуалізм доби Відродження, раціональна настанова Просвітництва та наукові дослідження (...) Нового часу усталили суб’єкт-об’єктний принцип взаємин; відновлення принципу діалогу як засобу порозуміння, пов’язується, зокрема, із працями представників комунікативної філософії. Акцентується увага на значущості критичного мислення та безперервної освіти як засобу подолання маніпулятивних впливів, зокрема у ситуації названою «добою постправди», що актуалізує дане дослідження. Статичний і динамічний фокуси контролювання ситуації та особи з боку держави розглянуто через комплементарну, стратегічну та елімінуючі моделі, метою яких, відповідно, є контролювання простору і приналежності, дотримання універсалізованої норми і самопокарання через перетворення у векторі відповідальності. In this article reviews the historiography of modern scientific research achievements of the youth movement of the late nineteenth ofGalicia- 30th years of twentieth century. The writer states that generalize the work, which comprehensively reviewed their development work on the history of individual societies, studies of specific areas of their activities, historical and biographical and other different genres publication is a significant contribution to the development of modern historiography of the problem.

Due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus, all countries began to introduce quarantine measures, which led to the closure of all higher education institution indefinitely. They were forced to switch to a distance learning process in a short time. The readiness for this process was different, purely technical problems arose - the lack of the Internet, computers, educational materials on the network. And most importantly, the teachers are not ready for distance learning. The IT industry was the first to (...) respond to the needs of teachers and students in physical culture and sports: the power of channels was increased, a large number of services and tools for teaching appeared. For video conferencing, the ZOOM tool turned out to be very popular, a large number of blogs with training recommendations were published on social networks, distance courses were held on the development of training resources and the organization of training. After the weakening of quarantine in the world, it became clear that humanity has entered a new stage of development, where distance learning will play a big role. Therefore, it is important to analyze the results of the distance learning process and determine the priority ways of developing online education in training future managers of physical culture and sports. Uncertainty and instability haunt us every day in today’s new reality. The purpose is a theoretical justification and empirical study of the hardiness of the personality in critical conditions of life. Psychodiagnostic complex of hardiness is indicated as a factor of personality adaptation. High average and high levels of hardiness are characteristics of an independently developed personality with a high ability to adapt. It has been established that the average level of hardiness contributes to the optimal experience of situations of (...) uncertainty and involves a person’s choice of coping strategies to counteract the new difficulties in professional and personal life. It has been substantiated that respondents who have high rates of hardiness have a higher level of adaptation efficiency. It has been stated that “risk acceptance” as the component of hardiness of participants of the “Work and Travel” program is more pronounced than in the respondents of other samples. It has been proved that empirical research of semantic psychological parameters of personality hardiness in critical conditions of life allowed to draw significant conclusions. It is noted that the results of the study need to be operationalized in training, educational and developmental and psycho-correctional practices. It is emphasized that the obtained empirical results should be used in the training of applicants for psychological specialties. (shrink)

The article considers the features of gender researches in the context of significant changes taking place in the technical and technological sphere of modern society. The authors considered it their task to trace the evolution of the gender issue starting with the actual ignoring of scientific and technological progress realities in early feminism to the natural synthesis of this issue with the achievements of technoscience and information technology. The most modern form of such a synthesis was cyberfeminism. The authors were (...) meticulous about the terminological apparatus of this problem, about the explication of the newest concepts, which, thanks to gender studies, have significantly enriched the modern humanitarian discourse. The peculiarity of this study is an attempt to identify the logic of gender research evolution, which adjusts to the formation of a new humanism, awareness of the identity of many strata of modern society and the search for the ways to struggle for their rights and their future. The article outlines the methodological principles of gender studies, because it is the methodology that allows you to productively develop these studies in the context of postmodern humanities. As a result of the study, the constructive possibilities of gender research, the prospects of their methodology, which allows to form the foundations of modern humanism, to find upgrades as to solve existing problems so to anticipate new challenges of the XXI century. Basing on foreign sources, where the gender problem is being studied quite actively and is developing rapidly, the authors of the article also analyze the state of gender research in Ukraine, which takes into account the realities of technoscience and information technology. Today local, national and international ethics committees have become an effective means of social regulation in many European countries. Science itself is an important precondition for the development of bioethical knowledge and ethics expertise. Cultural, social, historical and religious preconditions can facilitate different forms and methods of ethics expertise in each country. Ukrainian ethics expertise has some methodological problems connected with its socio-cultural, historical, science and philosophy development particularities. In this context, clarification of some common legitimacies or methodological approaches to (...) ethics committee (EC) phenomena such as globalization, scientization and the prioritization of an ethics paradigm are very important. On the other hand, elaborate study and critical analysis of international experience by Ukraine and other Eastern European countries will provide the integration of their local and national ethics expertises into a world bioethics ethos. У статті визначено особливості наукового методологічного підходу до розв’язання антропологічних проблем; показано, що проект комплементарного пізнання має визначальне значення для новітніх методологій людинознавства. Для української філософської антропології це означає реінтеграцію в смисловому полі уявлень про цілісність людського буття. Розглянуто разики методологічної гібридизації. Йдеться про надмірний інтегратизм, аматорство тощо. Виявлено межі інтеграції природознавчої та гуманітарної методологій. У контексті ідей «фундаментальної онтології» обґрунтовано, що методологічна сфера науки зараз неможлива поза концепцією смислоутворення. Проаналізовано, через які причини жодна з наук нездатна обійти присутність людського (...) буття та охопити своїм уявленням повноту його єства. Проаналізовано хибні наслідки розширеного витлумачення понять філософської антропології. Доведено, що вичерпність знань можлива лише в межах способу, який має дискурсивно-прагматичний характер. У цій статті вивчені позиції М. Гайдеггера, М. Бубера, М. Фуко та використано для визначення поняття гібридизації тощо. Це розкриває науково-дискурсивну конотацію концепції. (shrink)

Тип російської цивілізації визначається великим впливом Візантії. Важливим фактором для останньої було протистояння візантійського життя і варварського Заходу. Особливості візантійського православ’я вплинули на формування російського світогляду. Доведено, що основні думки російських ліберальних богословів про необхідність модернізації православного життя в Росії і що універсальне розуміння прав і свобод відкидаються ієрархію РПЦ. У статті аналізуються розвиток сучасної політичної риторики РПЦ і її процес становлення домінантної наративи. У статті розглянуто тему сучасної критики православ'я в Росії. Представлена детальна картина феномену релігійної критики в умовах сучасного соціокультурного дискурсу, проаналізовано декілька провідних напрямків критики православ'я як із боку представників самої церкви, так і з середовища представників світського суспільства.

The article considers the features contemporary transformations narratives official Russian Orthodoxy in the years 2015-2016. At the end of 2015 and in 2016 narrative "Russian world" Patriarch and his entourage tried to upgrade using the ideal of "solidarity." The ideas of "solidarity" in the XX century evolved differently in Catholic social teaching and fascism. Spokesman of the Russian Orthodox Church sees the embodiment of the ideals of solidarity in the best manifestations of Soviet mentality. "Solidarism" in the rhetoric of the (...) Patriarch and his entourage are a means of legitimizing Russian nationalism and revanchism. According to the Patriarch of core values and "Russian world" is "faith, state, justice, solidarity and dignity." These values must be an alternative to liberal values - freedom, rights, human rights. According to Patriarch values should determine the policy, and especially value the unity of the Russian people and state. This means that the patriarch claim to symbolic power over the politicians of Russia and neighboring countries. Іn rhetoric of patriarch the West, with its core value of freedom, embodies evil. Russia tempted by Western values, and this is the cause of many crises. The role of savior in this narrative belongs to the church and its leadership. Present rated as the culmination of the struggle between good and evil. The future victory of good patriarch linked not only to preserve the unity and uniqueness of Russia, but the triumph of traditionalism in Europe, the adoption of the values of solidarity society.
