    Non-Mutualistic Morality.Sonya Sachdeva, Rumen Iliev & Douglas L. Medin - 2013 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 36 (1):99 - 100.
Although mutually advantageous cooperative strategies might be an apt account of some societies, other moral systems might be needed among certain groups and contexts. In particular, in a duty-based moral system, people do not behave morally with an expectation for proportional reward, but rather, as a fulfillment of debt owed to others. In such systems, mutualistic motivations are not necessarily a key component of morality.

Predictors of the Diets Consumed by Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women and Mothers with Children Under Age Two Years in Rural Eastern India.Sayeed Unisa, Abhishek Saraswat, Arti Bhanot, Abdul Jaleel, Rabi N. Adolescents, pregnant women and mothers of children under 2 years of age are in stages of life characterized by higher nutritional demands. The study measured the dietary diversity of 17,680 adolescent girls, pregnant women and mothers of children under age 2 years in the eastern Indian states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Odisha using data from the Swabhimaan baseline survey conducted in 2016. The association of women’s mean Dietary Diversity Scores with socioeconomic, health and nutrition service indicators was assessed. The sampled (...)

Geomechanical Characterization of a Caprock-Reservoir System in the Northern Appalachian Basin: Estimating Spatial Variation of in Situ Stress Magnitude and Orientation.Samin Raziperchikolaee, Mark Kelley & Neeraj Gupta - 2018 - Interpretation 6 (3):T759-T781.
Assessing the mechanical integrity of the caprock-reservoir system is necessary to evaluate the practical storage capacity for geologic [Formula: see text] storage. We used a combination of well-log and experimental data to estimate the statistical distribution of rock mechanical properties of Cambrian-Ordovician strata within the Northern Appalachian region of Ohio and studied their heterogeneity throughout the study area. Empirical correlations between static-dynamic moduli of carbonate and sandstone formations of the Northern Appalachian Basin were developed. The state of stress for caprock (...)

Fault Related Overpressure in the Krishna Godavari Basin, East Coast of India.G. Karthikeyan, Jayanta Dutta, Ashutosh Kumar, Nitin Bhardwaj & Neeraj Sinha - forthcoming - Interpretation:1-32.
Drilling and reaching to deeper target zones through an overpressured overburden formation in a structurally complex geological setting requires robust geological and geomechanical analysis to mitigate risk and control operational cost. These types of geological conditions are present in the Krishna-Godavari Basin, where a series of horst and grabens defined by deep seated faults, and persistent high sedimentation rates through geologic time, result in the development of challenging conditions for exploratory drilling. In this study, we discuss possible overpressure mechanisms across (...)

This work presents a blueprint or set of guidelines for the planning and development of sustainable national centers dealing with the safety of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies toward public health and environment. The blueprint was developed following a methodological approach of EU-wide online survey and workshop with several stakeholders. The purpose was to identify the key elements and challenges in the development and sustainability of a national nanosafety center. The responses were received from representatives of 16 national nanosafety centers across Europe (...)
