RESUMEN Partiendo de la discusión del concepto de carne, en este trabajo analizo la común estructura ontológica/biopolítica que comparten los animales humanos y no humanos. Para ello me sirvo de los feminismos materiales y utilizo los hallazgos teóricos del feminismo animalista. También examino la noción de "encierro" en tanto concepto biopolítico que produce un nuevo tipo de ser vivo. Todo ello para, en último lugar, articular un sentido positivo del concepto de encarnación que permita construir comunidad animal. ABSTRACT In this (...) article, I analyze the common ontological/biopolitical structure shared by human and non-human animals, starting out from the discussion of the concept of flesh. To that effect, I resort to material feminisms and to the theoretical findings of animal rights feminism. I also examine the notion of "enclosure" as a biopolitical concept that produces a new kind of living being. This article shows how epideictic rhetoric and argumentation may be interrelated in a general-interest newspaper framed as a single discourse produced by a collective author. In more specific terms, the view advanced here is that newspaper as whole has an epideictic dimension which, in terms of argumentation, is the fundamental or predominant one. The usefulness of this approach is twofold. In terms of rhetoric, to explore the applicability of epideictic rhetoric to journalistic discourse; and in the field of journalism studies, (...) the goal is to draw on the theory of epideictic rhetoric so as to refine the conceptualization of the nature of argumentation in the newspaper as such. Given this twofold perspective, the account of newspaper discursive practices will be general, and the classical and contemporary epideictic theory will be briefly summarized. This paper argues that the science of logic follows the theory of knowledge. The objects are ens rationis. It admits that we have two kind of logic: formal logic, which follows via rationis, named abstractio formalis; and real logic, which follows via rationis, named abstractio totius. In consequence, there are divers habits of logic, which permit the use of our different acts of understanding, which pertain to both uses of ratio. This note presents the central points of Polo’s recent book, Nietzsche como pensador de dualidades: the reason of the present influence of the philosophy of the philosopher of Röcken; Polo’s critique of the hermeneutics of suspicion ; and Polo’s revision of the nuclear dualities of Nietzschean philosophy. It also explains the Polian prosecution of his theory of knowledge and his ontology contents in this book.

In this paper we study the interpretation of Iacobi Zabarellae on the agent intellect. He argues that the agent intellect different from the potential intelect, to whom activates and lights it directly without mediation; He sais also that do not abstracts in us, that in it coincides his being with his operation, and that is God. It is, therefore, an Averroism combined with Platonic, Augustinians and Thomists elements.

En este trabajo se estudia el intelecto agente según Vincentio Quintiano Brixiense (s. XVI). Su descripción es netamente tomista, pues sostiene que existe en el alma, que es una potencia factiva, que está separado de órgano, impasible, ente en acto y realmente distinto del posible. Sus operaciones son abstraer, causar el conocer de los primeros principios y activar al posible, respecto del cual es previo y superior. Ambos son inmortales y eternos, y tras esta vida no conocerán como ahora.

En este trabajo se defiende que se puede conocer la verdad y el error merced a los hábitos cognoscitivos, porque éstos conocen los actos de pensar que conocen objetos pensados que se corresponden con lo real. Trata también de la verdad y del error. Asimismo de la adquisición, jerarquía, perfección y tipos de hábitos. Indica que todos los hábitos adquiridos de la razón se conocen mediante un hábito innato, la sindéresis. Alude también a los hábitos innatos superiores a éste, en (...) especial, a la sabiduría. The author, after reviewing Aquinas work and the Teachings of the Catholic Church about the cognitive statute of the virtue of Faith, argues, based on Polo's proposals on Anthropology, that is the "personal knowledge", that is, the knowledge at the level of the act of being, and not simply the "rational knowledge" what is elevated by the supernatural virtue of Faith, that God infuses in the "personal kernel" of the human being.

Anthropology differs from ethics according to a hierarchy: a) its topic: anthropology deals with the human act of being, the essence and the human nature, whereas ethics subjects are limited to some dimensions of the human essence , which join the real goods by means of the human action; b) their methods: anthropology's noetical levels are higher and wider than the noetical methods of ethics.

In this paper we study the relation between innate habits according to Polo’s philosophy. We focus on two relations: a) the relation between the innate habit of first principles and the synderesis; b) the relation between the habit of wisdom and the habit of first principles.

En este trabajo se estudia del amor personal humano y del amor personal divino desde la antropología trascendental de Leonardo Polo. Se indica que el amor personal humano está abierto naturalmente al mundo, a los demás, al propio hombre y, en especial, a Dios; que es creciente y que puede ser elevado. El amor personal divino es pluripersonal y está abierto al humano en su creación, elevación y glorificación. In this work we study the human personal love and the divine (...) personal love according the transcendental anthropology of Leonardo Polo. We sustain that the human personal love is naturally open to the world, to others, to the self, and over all to God; that it is growing and susceptible of be elevated by God. Este articulo revisa las tesis de los pensadores árabes Avicena y Averroes referentes a la teoría del conocimiento, en especial a su punto culminar, el entendimiento agente. Se añade la revisión crítica de Leonardo Polo a tales propuestas. El quid de la crítica poliana reside en que, frente al axioma de que el conocer es acto en cualquier nivel, tales pensadores mantienen la pasividad del conocer humano. In Polo’s anthropology, the personal transcendentals constitute the first act of the human being. To achieve an understanding of the contribution to the natural growth of the person of human actions performed in space and time, it is required to investigate how the intensity of this act can increase naturally in the context of the doctrine of act and potency. Review of the constitution of human beings in Aristotle, Aquinas and Polo and the real distinction between their ontological components, together (...) with the concept of instrumental causality served to propose an explanation of the natural growth of the person. A partir de una distinción entre la crítico al mito tradicional, que puede llevar a hacer usos pedagógicos del mismo una vez reformado y el uso del mito dentro de una investigación filosófica como herramienta del pensamiento, se procede en este trabajo a considerar tres mitos filosóficos y a establecer la forma en que puedan ser leídos adecuadamente, especialmente tratando de establecer las repercusiones del tipo ético que tienen dentro de la obra de Platón.
