LA CONCIENCIA Y LA APORÍA DE LA OBJETIVIDAD DESDE LA ONTO-FENOMENOLOGÍA DE MILLÁN-PUELLES Y WOJTYLA / The consciousness and the aporia of the objectivity of subjectivity from the onto-phenomenology of Millán-Puelles and Wojtyła.
-/- How to objectify subjectivity without falling into either immanent subjectivisms or objectivisms foreign to personal existence? From the perspective of realist philosophy the key (...)

The Psychic Life of Neoliberalism: Mapping the Contours of Entrepreneurial Subjectivity.Christina Scharff - 2016 - Theory, Culture and Society 33 (6):107-122.
This article adds to contemporary analyses of neoliberalism by shedding light on its psychic life. Writers in the Foucauldian tradition have explored how subjectivities are reconstituted under neoliberalism, showing that the neoliberal self is an entrepreneurial subject. Yet, there has been little empirical research that explores entrepreneurial subjectivity and, more specifically, its psychic life. By drawing on over 60 in-depth interviews with individuals who may be entrepreneurial subjects par excellence, this article adds to our understanding of how neoliberalism is lived (...)

The enigma of subjectivity: Ludwig Binswanger’s existential anthropology of mania.Susan Lanzoni - 2005 - History of the Human Sciences 18 (2):23-41.
The Swiss psychiatrist Ludwig Binswanger is best known for his existential analysis (Daseinsanalyse) presented in a series of case studies in the 1940s, but his existential anthropology of mania of the early 1930s has received less attention. He introduced this new existential science as a disciplinary hybrid of existential philosophy and clinical psychiatry, and, in doing so, transformed the genre of narrow medical case study into a broader discourse of philosophical anthropology. The very ambitiousness of his method, however, tended to (...)

Empiricism and Subjectivity: An Essay on Hume's Theory of Human Nature.Constantin V. Boundas (ed.) - 1991 - Cambridge University Press.
At last available in paperback, this book anticipates and explains the post-structuralist turn to empiricism. Presenting a challenging reading of David Hume's philosophy, the work is invaluable for understanding the progress of Deleuze's thought.

Confession, Obedience, and Subjectivity: Michel Foucault's Unpublished Lectures On the Government of the Living.Jean-Michel Landry - 2009 - Telos: Critical Theory of the Contemporary 2009 (146):111-123.
Delivered at the Collège de France between January and March 1980, the lectures entitled On the Government of the Living (Du gouvernement des vivants) seem to be the missing piece in the Foucauldian puzzle. Still unpublished, those eleven lectures were intended to set the theoretical foundation for the book announced as the fourth and last volume of the History of Sexuality, under the title Confessions of the Flesh (Les aveux de la chair). This book, however, was never published, despite the (...)

Attitude and subjectivity in Italian and British hard-news reporting: The construction of a culture-specific ‘reporter’ voice.Gabrina Pounds - 2010 - Discourse Studies 12 (1):106-137.
The critical linguistic analysis of authorial stance in English news reporting has long been concerned with uncovering the ideological bias embedded in the seemingly objective and neutral representation of people and events. Interest has recently shifted towards the nature of the authorial voice itself and the extent to which this semblance of objectivity is also typical in non-English reporting. This article explores to what extent the most impersonal ‘reporter voice’, as identified by Martin and White in English hard-news reported in (...)
