Amanda Beatson Nick Lee, C. Garrett Tony & Xi Zhang Ian Lings (forthcoming). A Study of the Attitudes Towards Unethical Selling Amongst Chinese Salespeople. Journal of Business Ethics.
The latter part of the twentieth century saw the Chinese economy moving towards a socialist market economy rather than a planned system. Despite growing interest in Chinese business ethics, little work has examined ethical issues concerning the Chinese sales force. This study draws from existing work on Chinese and Western business and sales ethics to develop hypotheses regarding the perceptions of unethical selling behaviour of modern Chinese salespeople. A survey of Chinese sales executives is conducted and statistically analysed. Results are (...)

Edward Arnold (2005). Le discours de Tony Blair (1997-2004). Corpus 4.

John E. Taylor, Tinker and Viewpoint Discrimination.
Suppose that a school restricts student expression critical of homosexual conduct yet allows or actively supports student expression that promotes acceptance and tolerance of gays and lesbians. Can such a policy be justified if the anti-gay speech disrupts the educational environment of the school while the pro-gay speech does not? Or does the differential treatment of anti-gay and pro-gay speech constitute unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination because it distorts the marketplace of ideas within the school? Can viewpoint discrimination ever be justified on (...)

    K. Behrens (2009). Tony Yengeni's Ritual Slaughter: Animal Anti-Cruelty Vs. Culture. South African Journal of Philosophy 28 (3):271-289.
I address the question: ‘Are acts of the ritual slaughter of animals, of the kind recently engaged in by the Yengeni family, morally justifiable?’ Using the Yengeni incident as a springboard for my discussion, I focus on the moral question of the relative weight of two competing ethical claims. I weigh the claim that we have an obligation not to cause animals pain without good reason against the claim by cultures that traditional practices, such as the one under discussion, are (...)
