Choice under complete uncertainty when outcome spaces are state dependent.Clemens Puppe & Karl H. Schlag - 2009 - Theory and Decision 66 (1):1-16.
One central objection to the maximin payoff criterion is that it focuses on the state that yields the lowest payoffs regardless of how low these are. We allow different states to have different sets of possible outcomes and show that the original axioms of Milnor (1954) continue to characterize the maximin payoff criterion, provided that the sets of payoffs achievable across states overlap. If instead payoffs in some states are always lower than in all others then ignoring the “bad” states (...)

Die "Entartete" Moderne Und Ihr Amerikanischer Markt: Karl Buchholz Und Curt Valentin Als Händler Verfemter Kunst.Anja Tiedemann - 2013 - De Gruyter.

The world of Parmenides: essays on the pre-Socratic Enlightenment.Karl Raimund Popper - 1998 - New York: Routledge. Edited by Arne Friemuth Petersen & Jørgen Mejer.
The World of Parmenides is a unique collection of essays that not only explores the complexity of ancient Greek thought, but also reveals Popper's engagement with Presocratic philosophy and the enlightenment he experienced in reading Parmenides. It includes writings on Greek science, philosophy and history and demonstrates Popper's life-long fascination with the presocratic philosophers, in particular Parmenides, Xenophanes and Heraclitus.

Von Hegel zu Nietzsche: Der revolutionäre Bruch im Denken des 19. Jahrhunderts.
Die Erstausgabe erschien 1941 in New York.

Beyond Autonomy in Eighteenth-Century British and German Aesthetics.Karl Axelsson, Camilla Flodin & Mattias Pirholt (eds.) - 2020 - New York: Routledge.
This volume re-examines traditional interpretations of the rise of modern aesthetics in eighteenth-century Britain and Germany. It provides a new account that connects aesthetic experience with morality, science, and political society. In doing so, the book challenges longstanding teleological narratives that emphasize disinterestedness and the separation of aesthetics from moral, cognitive, and political interests. The chapters are divided into three thematic parts. The chapters in Part I demonstrate the heteronomy of eighteenth-century British aesthetics. They chart the evolution of aesthetic concepts (...)

Der philosophische Glaube angesichts der Offenbarung.Karl Jaspers - 1962 - München,: R. Piper. Edited by Bernd Weidmann.

The Lesson of This Century: With Two Talks on Freedom and the Democratic State.Karl Popper - 1996 - Routledge.
In _The Lesson of this Century_ Popper's purpose is to warn us against the increasing violence and egoism of our society. What solutions can we offer to the problems of the environment, demography and corruption? How can we prevent the violence our society engenders? How can we preserve our democratic system while at the same time paving the way for global peace? Popper believes that the philosopher has a duty to intervene in politics and he utters a clear call to (...)

Language and the body-mind problem: A restatement of interactionism.Karl R. Popper - 1953 - Proceedings of the XI International Congress of Philosophy 7:101-107.
It is not a paper on linguistic analysis (the analysis of word-usages). For I completely reject the claim of certain language analysts that the source of philosophical difficulties is to be found in the misuse of language. No doubt some people talk nonsense, but I claim (a) that there does not exist a logical or language-analytical method of detecting philosophical nonsense (which, by the way, does not stop short of the ranks of logicians, language analysts and semanticists); (b) that the (...)
